We love Allam!

My name is John Blanton and I live in Nashville, TN and have known Allam for years.  Once, I told Allam that I liked his tie and he took it off and gave it to me.  He catered my wedding, helped in times of trouble, and insisted that he be given nothing in return.  We believe that he deserves to be legally identified as part of the community in which he is already socially and economically accepted.  Allam has done so much for the community-this is the community doing for Allam.

Please sign your name in the comments section if you agree with the above statement, and wish to notify our local government that Allam deserves to be here legally.

p.s. just to clarify: Allam has been trying to "make it legal" for years.  he's spent tons of money and time and, though he's legally allowed to be in the U.S., it's still not long-term.  He has an important court date coming up that could decide his fate.  As of now, if he goes home he isn't allowed to come back, which means while he's legal to be here he hasn't seen his family in years despite the fact that there have been a number of family emergencies and deaths in the family that he cannot attend without losing everything he has here.  Anyway, we are doing a petition of sorts just to say that Allam should be legally identified as part of the community he is already accepted into.  We will attempt to submit this to the appropriate people in power at that point.

  1. I agree with Johnny B. Allam has been a friend of our family for over a long time now. He is one of the most generous people I've ever met. He's a super hard worker and is more responsible than a lot of people his age. Let Allam be here legally. This is the kind of person who deserves this, he's trying to do things the right way. I can vouch for his integrity.

  2. Allam is a tireless entrepreneur that contributes immensely to the Nashville economy and is an inspiration to local, current and future, small business owners. He humbly recognizes and responds to the humanity of each person he meets, I ask that Nashville does the same for him.

  3. Allam is a wonderful man who does nothing but good for the people around him. If America has half the integrity of this man, they will never turn him away.

  4. At the risk of sounding redundant, I would like to echo that Allam is one of the hardest working, kindest, gentlest men I have ever had the benefit of encountering in my life. There has never been a doubt in my mind that his pursuit of legal and permanent status in the United States would end successfully. He has proven himself a capable and honest member of our community, and the greater Nashville community time and again. I add my name to this petition with the request that Nashville recognize his past, present, and future benefit to society as a legal resident.

  8. Allam is the best friend I have in Nashville. He works continually to take care of his family, and those he has adopted into his family, which includes all of his friends. He is more generous than anyone I've ever known, and this is not an exaggeration. Nashville will lose someone very precious if he is not allowed to stay. We stand with him, and ask for justice.

  9. Allam is a wonderful, warm spirit and probably the hardest working man in Nashville. if he hasn't earned his citizenship, then surely none of us have! he deserves it.

  10. Allam has always been incredibly genuine with me, and that is a an incredible character quality that is difficult to come by these days. I do not know him very well, but he has a very gentle, loving spirit from what I have experienced. He has always been an amazing support to friends and friends of friends, and, to quote from above, never seems to ask anything in return.

I wholeheartedly pray for his legalization.

  11. I agree with all of the above. Allam is one of the few people I contacted to see while I was in Nashville for the summer. It would not be the same without him. He's shown me and others around what real hard work and dedication are. That's something I think our country wants to be known for.

  13. I met Allam one time and was so impressed by his generosity and kindness that I can't forget him. He has a heart like no other. He helps others around him with no expectation or promise of reciprocation. Certainly, a great loss would be felt by his family and community if he is not granted legal residency.

  14. allam is a rare breed, a genuinely kind person with a contagious smile and an honest heart. i have heard countless stories of his generosity and willingness to help other with no expectations of anything in return. he has put lots of money and time into being able to stay here legally, and it should be granted him, no question about it.

  17. I've known Allam for three years. Allam has also helped me many times. When I needed a ride home, Allam would give me a ride home. When I needed a job (really badly), Allam went out of his way and had me hired at the Pizza place he works at. He is always there to listen when you need someone to talk to. He is such an impressive person. Even though he has been through so much, he maintains a positive attitude and I've never see him without a smile.

Allam loves people unconditionally and I would be sooooo proud and sooooo thankful if he was my fellow citizen. America needs more people like Allam.
